This page explains how to delete your account in the CommuniTee app for iPhone and Android (Android package com.communiteegolf.app, developer CommuniTee). It is the same account you use on communitee.golf, so deleting it removes it everywhere.
How to delete your account
In the app
- Open the CommuniTee app and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Settings (the gear icon).
- Tap Delete account.
- Type DELETE to confirm, then tap the confirm button.
On the web
There is no delete button on the website yet. Please use the app, or email us.
By email
Email info@communiteegolf.com with the subject “Delete my account”. Send it from the email address on your account. We will check that the request is from you, delete your account within 30 days, and confirm by email.
What happens when you delete
Deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no grace period, and we can’t undo it. Any saved cards are revoked at PayPal.
What we delete
- Your login, so you can no longer sign in
- Your personal details: name, phone number, email, birth month and year, gender, handicap, city, state, ZIP code, and about text
- Saved payment cards (we also revoke them at PayPal)
- Push notification tokens and calendar connections
- Saved courses and saved events
- Follows, friendships, and blocks
- Notification and message preferences
- Group availability answers
- Newsletter memberships
What we keep
Golf courses need some records for accounting and legal reasons. We keep these, with your name and other personal details removed:
- Bookings and attendee records
- Payment transactions, refunds, and invoices
- Reviews you wrote
- Group memberships
- Other accounting and compliance records the golf courses need
We keep these records for as long as the course's accounting, tax and legal obligations require.
